Crushing & screening hire in Goldfields

The Goldfields have a constant need for mobile crushing and screening: haul road and hardstand material, aggregate for site civils, ore sorting and scalping, and rehabilitation work across dozens of mine sites around Kalgoorlie, Kambalda, Leonora and Laverton. Most of that plant needs to be mine-spec, and most of it has to travel a long way from Perth to get there.

What you can hire

Because the owner writes the listing, you see the specifics that matter — make and model, jaw or chamber size, deck size and mesh available, hours on the machine, whether it is mine-spec, and what it costs to get it to site. You deal directly with the person who runs it.

How hiring works on Ultihire

Search by machine type and location, open a listing, and send the owner a request with your dates. The owner accepts or declines. Once accepted you have their contact details and the two of you settle the hire agreement, rate, bond and transport directly. Ultihire charges a booking fee for making the connection and does not mark up the daily rate.

That is deliberately simpler than a traditional hire desk. There is no minimum fleet commitment, no account application, and no waiting for a quote that has to be approved by someone in another state.

Dry hire, wet hire and what to check

Most listings are dry hire — you supply the operator, fuel and daily servicing. Some owners offer wet hire with an operator, or a commissioning day to set the plant up and prove the product spec. Check which one you are looking at, and confirm who is responsible for transport permits, float bookings and wear parts before you accept.

Ask for the last service record and the hours on the machine. On a crusher, ask about manganese condition (jaw dies, cone mantle and concave, blow bars) because a set that is 80% worn will cost you production during the hire. On a screen, ask what media is fitted and whether the owner can supply spare decks in the aperture you need.
