The hire process

Six steps from "I need a digger" to "bond released".

Step 1

Search listings near you and filter by category, suburb, price and delivery.

Step 2

Pick your pickup and return dates and see the full price, fees and bond before you commit.

Step 3

The owner accepts or declines. Nothing is locked in until they do, and the hire itself is paid to them, not to us.

Step 4

Photograph the gear at pickup so its condition is documented before it leaves the yard.

Step 5

Collect the equipment, or have it dropped on site where the owner offers delivery.

Step 6

Bring it back, photograph it again, and the owner marks the hire complete and returns your bond.

Members verify their identity before their first hire, so you know who you are handing a machine to.

Renting

The daily rate, delivery and bond are agreed with the owner and settled directly with them. Ultihire does not mark up the hire or take a cut of it.
